I would like to work as a social anthropologist specializing in socio-environmental problems, focused on conflicts caused by the installation of extractive mining companies. Therefore, I would like this work, and should be done, on the outdoors in the middle of the territories in conflict to be able to work together with the local communities. I live in Santiago and the vast majority of these types of conflicts caused by extractivism take place outside the region, and a large part of them are located in the northern part of the country, so I would have to travel frequently to carry out this I work and that motivates me a lot.
