The antropology study programme

My study programme corresponds to that of anthropology with a major in social anthropology and, previously, that of the basic cycle of anthropology. Regarding the subjects that I have had to take, I can say that in general I have liked them, but I sincerely feel that at least in terms of theory and I perceive some gaps in the curriculum. Little has been addressed, for example, Latin American perspectives of anthropological studies and I consider that, in fact, these should occupy a central place in the race.

Regarding the academic load, I believe that it is unbalanced in certain branches and that there is no standard that allows the optimal organization of the semesters and the study time of the students. This is undoubtedly an aspect in which one should work conscientiously to achieve a better organization of the race.

Speaking of the faculty, I don't feel like it has a bad infrastructure at all. However, the library is very small for the amount of students that we are and studying within FACSO can be complicated, so many times it is preferred to go to study at the library of the Faculty of Philosophy. He also has very few computers to work with.

I think that technology in general is used well, but especially for the mentions of physical anthropology and Archeology, which must carry out work in laboratories although I really do not know if this works properly.

Finally, it could be a contribution that the teaching methods are diversified in the different courses of the mesh because, although there are teachers who carry out classes in alternative ways, most are exclusively teaching and that seems to be in contradiction with the true anthropological task.
